About this position

GoodWe is looking for an Account Manager to Distributor Channel, focused on the solar retail distributors to join the Brazilian team. This role is responsible for building and expanding relationships with strategically key customers. Assigned to multiples accounts, the Account Manager is responsible for achieving sales targets, channel development, channel operation, and strategic account planning while maintaining customer satisfaction.

The Account Manager represents the whole portfolio of solutions, including inverters, storages, etc, for a list of accounts defined by region, type or other criteria, being responsible to analyze the local market to understand the local demands and standards requirements, supporting headquarters on the development of new products, features and sales growth of GoodWe by developing strong relationships with distributors, and installers to ensure their trust in GoodWe’s solutions. Hold customer presentations face-to-face and online, establish a knowledge data base, and represent GoodWe in exhibitions. Provide timely information or feedback for proposals from customers, supplying the commercial and technical details of proposed solutions.


Tasks and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the operation and implementation of effective business development measures to ensure the promotion and generation of sales in accordance with company policies.

Taking actions to resolve complex problems, implement measures to achieve cost savings and ensure customer satisfaction.

Increase the distributors volume across all product lines (inverters, storage, etc)

Setup business development plan and action plans by account.

Identify, drive and pursue new business opportunities with different distributors, wholesalers, resellers, installers by selecting appropriate company products /services enablers.

Manage business opportunities and deliver recognized value to customers that will generate profit and continuous growth for GoodWe.

Identify Distributor sales requirements/gaps and work on a solution.

Develop and maintain an understanding of target customers and markets, as well as industry/channel issues, and customer purchasing behavior and influences. Obtain, evaluate and communicate such market-customer-channel & competitor behavior information

Work jointly with Pre-sales, After-sales, and Marketing teams to establish and implement business plan objectives

Provide portfolio, channel policy, and campaigns presentations to distributor, resellers, and installers.

 

Requirements:

Business & Sales Expertise:

Business development expertise with a proven sales track record with Tier-1 companies.

Strongly networked in the renewable energy, mainly in Solar PV industry.

Ability to influence major stakeholders both internally & externally.

Strong communication skills including large group presentations & discussions.

Excellent organization skills with the ability to quickly assess priorities.

Able to confidently convey product benefits & cost advantages to customers.

High professionalism in working with customers to solve emergencies.

Exceptional analytical skills, relationship management qualities, and leadership abilities.

 

Attributes:

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering or similar;

3+ years of experience working with distributor channel;

DNA of channel policy and high level of CRM skills

Solid experience with solar products within photovoltaic industry in Brazil, preferably in solar inverters;

International mindset for a multi-cultural environment;

High percentage of travels will be required;

Strong customer relationship skills;

Advanced English, desirable Spanish
